Massive Blue Jadeite boulder

My guess is this one is over 500 pounds! It is from our mining claim in CCMA. Area is now closed to mineral entry and we have 2 valid claims in CCMA. So we are in the middle of a giant turmoil up there. Anyhow these stones are increasingly rare and very difficult to find. The color is a gorgeous mix of various blues and has white veins of pure crystalline jadeite. These rare jades took millions of years to be shaped by the river.

Rock Stop to open March 9th

We will open for the season March 9th with many new finds as well as some "old favorite" new pieces. We have made lots of new jade carved pieces in our jade factory here on the Mendocino coast, and found some spectacular natural botryoidal jade specimens.
